Dr. Ananya Barman has received the Biotechnology Ignition Grant (BIG) – 18^th call, a flagship programme of Biotechnology Industry Research Assistance Council (BIRAC).  Her research proposal has scored second in the Agriculture and allied category. Dr. Ananya Barman was working as Post-doctoral fellow under the supervision of Dr. Debajit Thakur, Assoc. Prof., IASST.
