Dr. Kamatchi Sankaranarayanan
Our group focuses on exploring the biophysical aspects of protein and peptide self-assembly and harnessing these processes for a range of applications including biomaterials. We are particularly interested in cold atmospheric pressure plasma directed self-assembly of proteins and peptides into supramolecular structures, with a focus on their biomedical applications in Geroscience. Additionally, we aim to develop unique functional biomaterials derived from NE specific silk proteins.
