Dr. Kamatchi Sankaranarayanan

My major research interest is on understanding the biophysical aspects of protein/peptide self-assembly and utilizing them for various applications. We work on the utilizing cold atmospheric pressure plasma directed protein/peptide self-assembly to supramolecular structures and its biomedical applications in Geroscience. Additionally, we study the protein-inorganic materials co-assembly, in appraising neurodegenerative diseases and we intend to create unique functional biomaterials from NE specific silk proteins.
