I am an applied mathematician working on water wave mechanics. My research interest includes the following topics:
- Acoustic-gravity waves, Hydroelasticity, flexural-gravity waves
- Fluid-structure interaction
- Flow-through porous medium
- Poroelasticity and viscoelasticity
- Wave blocking, dead water analogue
- Wave scattering, damping, and trapping
Currently, I am working on the following topics:
- Acoustic-gravity wave propagation in the ocean.
- Soft ocean bed induced wave dissipation mechanism in the ocean.
- Indian Summer Monsoon Rainfall (ISMR) prediction using AI & ML techniques, new predictor discovery, and capture non-linearity.
