The Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati, will celebrate Swachhata Pakhwada 2026 on its campus from May 1 to May 15, 2026, to promote cleanliness, hygiene, and environmental awareness. The initiative includes campus cleanliness drives, laboratory inspections, waste removal, community cleanliness drives, expert talks, and cleaning of the medicinal garden and institute ponds. Competitions and a felicitation ceremony will mark the closing event.
The Director emphasized the importance of collective responsibility in maintaining a clean and sustainable environment.
