Call for students for opting for IASST as host institute for SERB- N-PDF programme

The Institute of Advanced Study in Science and Technology (IASST), Guwahati is an autonomous R&D Institute under the Department of Science and Technology, Govt. of India. The Institute is engaged in frontier areas of research in the specific domain of Physical, Chemical, Mathematical and Life Sciences. The Institute’s aim is to contribute to basic sciences and develop technology using local resources through strong interdisciplinary research approach across different divisions. Institute is equipped with modern and sophisticated instrumentation including SEM, XRD, LCMS-MS, AFM, DNA Sequencer and computational facility for cutting edge scientific research.

In this regard, we invite prospective, bright, talented Ph.D. holder to join our diverse and outstanding research groups through SERB-N-PDF programme and IASST their host institute. The students who have submitted his/her thesis can also apply. The student should contact the faculty members who are willing to take N-PDF this year with summary of the project proposal. All the project proposal will be scrutinized by a committee so that the promising and meritious proposals are selected and submitted. Mere submission of proposal doesn’t guarantee approval from IASST as a host institute.
